"A couple of years ago we finished a renovation on a vacation home in my hometown of Rockport, Massachusetts. I had searched all during construction and after for a couple of pieces to go in our front hall and in the master bedroom. There were size challenges but also I had a “look” that I was searching for. In addition, I was hoping to find something by a Rockport artist. There were other artists I contemplated but either they were exorbitantly expensive or couldn’t fit the space exactly as we needed. Then I saw Sarah’s work online and it was perfect!! Her color palette is exactly what I was looking for and her paintings have the “feel” that I was trying to capture in the house. I reached out and she was a joy to work with!! She drew up some sketches and was open to all of my ideas and suggestions. (And although I didn’t need the paintings by a specific date, she worked incredibly fast.). The color palette is perfect for the house and I love the metallic accents on the beach painting! The pieces fit like a dream and are the finishing touch to the house. And I LOVE the fact that I have original artwork from one of my classmates. Now I just need to find more places for her works....”
